"Ceativity is as much about exploring what you don’t know as embracing what you do know. Having the courage to wander into your own ignorance, armed only with base knowledge, can be a powerful way to true creativity. When you truly go out there and create something, it’s as much a product of what you don’t know as a product of what you do."
-Lars Ulrich
Creativity:
"No, it comes to you at the most random of times, maybe even from within you. When you least expect it...while you're driving, while you're trying to fall asleep, looking out the window, while someone's talking to you or when you're tapping into or using a different part of your brain. Anytime, anywhere, no rhyme, no reason. Thoughts, ideas, angles, starting points, end points...they come to you. Your 'creativity portals' are open without you knowing it. Connecting with sights, sounds, smells, words, pictures, memories and emotions you might not even know are present. It just fires when it wants, day, night, off, on. Sometimes yes, you do have to sit and stake it out, wait for it to arrive, tease it into action. For your words, pictures, sounds, connections. Be it for film, music, literature, painting...Be it for food."
-Lars Ulrich
